Pass the Pouring Ministry

Pass Blessings Along to the Next Generation

For I will pour out water on the thirsty land And streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring And My blessing on your descendants
Isaiah 44:3

"Pass the Pouring represents many life lessons my mom poured into me. Reflecting on our time together, I learned so much by watching her meticulously water her plants. It’s amazing how this small act parallels how she impacted my life. Her faith was based on simple, important beliefs; plant with love and compassion, nurture through kindness and patience, and grow in gratitude and hope. This is how she related to everyone who crossed her path. Pouring into others can change lives and connect us all in immeasurable ways.”  Katrina Pollard

During my children's school days, I often found myself burned out. I was simply tired. I had to pick the kids up from school, and it took forever because they were in different schools”. There was homework galore. Whenever I shared my fatigue with my mom, she would say “Thank goodness you can drive, and what a blessing it is to have a car.” That was an example of the importance of her pouring refreshing waters of life into my spirit. Our conversations often started out this way, but they always ended with me feeling reenergized and in a much better mood to carry on. I know there were times when her days were much harder than she would admit to, but she never complained. She introduced me to agope love which is the Father's specialty by pouring into me the importance of gratitude and selflessness which were the foundations of her christian walk, spirit, and authenticity.

Plant With Love and Compassion

Plant With Love and Compassion

As she watered the plants, I could hear her gently talking and praying–it was as though she was speaking life into the plants.

Nurture Through Kindness and Patience

As I watched her slowly move about checking on each plant, I couldn’t help but notice that she touched the leaves as though she was holding someone's hand, making sure that no harm had come to them.

Grow in Gratitude and Hope

She usually had tissue in her hand to clean any dirt from the new leaves. She always took a moment to smile once she cleaned the leaves as though something had been given to her. The look on her face was a sense of pride and gratitude.
